antique Christening outfit: dress and lined coat 1940's. this item is definitely an antique. It was worn by family who are now in their 70's. item has no labels so I do not know size, exact material or care instructions. I will give approximate measurements.dress: shoulder to hem 15", chest across 10&1/2". bottom of skirt 13" across. .coat: shoulder to hem 16". sleeves including lace 10". All measures are very, very approximate! dress has lace trim and short sleeves and some safety pins on it. coat has long sleeves which have been folded over for a long time. coat has lace trim and snap that no longer works. snap is half hanging off. both items have some stains: light yellow maybe from baby formula. and some dirt. and many folds and a LOT of wrinkles. there is also age yellowing and some graying . there can be snags and other missed issues. these items are quite old, have been packed and repacked. the items are for someone who appreciates antiques for the fact that they are old, have memories, and are no longer made. therefore, they are irreplaceable. the items are definitely NOT for the picky collector. I make no guarantees about anything with these items. AS IS!
