We are happy to be able to offer for your consideration a beautiful handmade 100% cotton lace christening gown from France. It is an excellent wearable condition with no stains or marks at all. It is made using both hands sewing techniques and machine sewing and has a zipper in the back. The eyelet lace that covers the whole gown is a very good quality and the ground is fully lined and cotton. This makes the gown washable so that it can actually be used for a real christening gown.
The measurements are as follows armpit to armpit is 13 inches neck to the end of the sleeve is 12 inches front of the neck to the bottom of the ham is 29 inches the circumference of the neck is 41 inches. This style of gown can be worn by a lot of different sizes of baby because it is quite loose fitting and can be worn as a long sleeve or three-quarter length gown. The elastic in the sleeves is still in very good condition and the trim is blue but can easily be changed to white or pink.
