INSTALLATION:
This foam tape is easy to be repositioned when it’s not fully compressed. Clean and dry surface first, wipe with ADHESION PROMOTER if some surface does not work well, apply the tape to objects and let it cure for 4-8 hours then stick to the walls with pressure, "X" shape needed at center for big objects. The longer time applied the stronger the tape will be molding into surfaces of objects.
MATERIAL LAYERS:
The black base layer is foam formed from polyethylene with double coated Acrylic on both sides with pressure-sensitive adhesive, for some surfaces if the tape does not work, spray Adhesion-PROMOTER first then stick the tape. The adhesive is protected by a peel-away red liner that can be removed during your application or left in place until the joining surfaces are ready to be attached and it is easy to peel off by hand.

Answer: The adhesive carrier material is different, b07p9jc46t is a PE carrier and b07rgf7wj2 has no carrier material, but blended adhesive (same technology as 3M VHB). b07p9jc46t provides instant bonding with pressure, b07rgf7wj2 needs curing time and when it sticks longer the bonding is stronger. ASIN: b07p9jc46t is much thicker and vulcanized from PE resin, coated with rubber adhesive, it works for uneven surface or outside of car deco.

I'm currently using this tape to secure a rubber mat to my Mobility Scooter Carrier. The tape has been installed for that function for about 6 months with only 1 small issue. That issue was caused by a Tool Cart box being loaded on the Mobility Scooter Carrier and having to be slid over the front edge of the mat. This action caused the tape at that end to come up from that area of the Carrier. Re-installed new tape in that area and that problem no longer exist. Other than that, the tape has worked out great for me and my use and I'm VERY SATISFIED with my purchase of this product.

Why would I need an adhesion promoter? Should I just buy 3m or what?
Answer: Generally, you only need to clean the surface with 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Adhesion promoter can secure the bonding better and for some surface, there might be oil or texture that we can not see by eyes, the adhesion promoter will decrease the chance for oil and air contact between object and adhesive. Some people say the adhesive is very strong and some people say there is no adhesive; the material, texture, shape of surface and temperature affects a lot to the adhesive, all pressure sensitive adhesion needs isolation for air and oil or it might be weaker than tested. 3M suggests user to use adhesion promoter too, there is nothing bad to use it before you adhere the object when you need a secure and long time holding.

Answer: Can’t speak on your exact application. But I use this regularly with attaching car emblems. I’ve been through about 2 big rolls on many many vehicles and have yet to have anyone come back with issue. 4 emblems on my personal vehicle have withstood pressure washers every week with no sign of letting go. Just make sure you have a really clean surface.

No experience with that aaplication, but the tape is used for automotive trim. Car trim is constantly exposed to the elements. Rain, wind and snow at 60 mph provide a much harsher environment than a shower.

It also is very easy to work with, both because it is a neoprene like foam, and because it is easy to remove the plastic adhesive cover. It is supposed to be removable, and I suspect it is...but I haven't had it on anything for very long yet.

This double sided foam tape works wonders in adhering almost anything. When applying, be sure to apply a strong amount of force for 30 seconds (or as long as you can manage) to get a firm bond. This will ensure whatever you're mounting will stay there. I haven't measured how much weight this tape can manage, but I've used it to mount brackets to lock an outdoor freezer and they absolutely don't budge, even with an excessive amount of prying/sheer force.
As such, you'd likely have some difficulty removing the tape unless you get something to scrape underneath or in-between the tape and whatever you're sticking it to (or use a chemical solvent). It adheres firmly and securely, so make sure to position properly before application, because it might be a lot of trouble for a redo.

I wanted to put some signs and was looking for a way to stick them. I found this and use this yesterday finally. Looks like it works as of now but how long the signs will stick, not sure.
I have seen signs posted on poles eg Cash for Cars etc and they used some tar like substance to stick them to the poles. Thats why they can put them at heights where no one can reach them. Put that sticky substance on the back of the sign, raise it with the stick and then just stick it where you want to. I was actually looking for that kind of substance but I couldnt find it. So I got this at the end. If anyone knows a better way to stick the signs let me know please. I need some kind of instant stick adhesive BUT not too expensive.

I was made aware of this product on a Project Farm YouTube that tested and compared all the major brand double sided tapes . I had to order a roll and try it and I'm so glad I did. I cleaned the front bumper on my wife's new car with rubbing alcohol, and let it dry. I did the same to the tag. I put the tape on, squared everything up and stuck it on.
