PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ABS (Anti-Lock Brake Systems) systems are one of a truck's greatest tools when stopping a vehicle. ABS systems stop wheels from locking when a car begins a stop, transferring air through pressure valves and to the wheels so that drivers can still steer while braking, preventing the wheels from locking. ABS systems and their components improve all braking functions even during wet or slippery road conditions.
This Meritor WABCO Modulator Valve Replacement Kit is part of a six or four speed sensor, four modulator valve configuration (6S/4M or 4S/4M). The kit itself contains the replacement valve, bolts, lubricant and O-rings for installation. The connectors on this valve are bayonet style and the valve has a 4.0 PSI crack pressure limit. This 12 Volt valve is compatible with Meritor WABCO ABS systems on rear axles for tractor applications. This specific valve replaces the left ABS modulator valve in the system.
ABS systems and parts are under warranty for 1 year or 100,000 miles.
